January2012~Bali

23-29 Jan 2012, during the Chinese New Year, Xiang and I "ran away"from the tradition, we went to Bali, Air asia round trip for two just RM310. When we arrived in Bali airport, we couldn't get BALI Taxi, which bloggers said it is one of the taxi charging on meter. We went out to the gate with another Chinese couple we met in the plane, finally got the taxi to Kuta, we shared RP25700. In Kuta, we walked to Puri Agung Homestay( near Jln Legian and Poppies Lane1,RM110K/ night).

Bali, a place of heaven for many travelers, an unforgettable beautiful place for Xiang, who went there a few years back. Unfortunately, this time he is a bit disappointed,Bali people are no more "pure" when we heard Chinese words came out from the merchants' mouth, the town and road is busy, and the cost of traveling increase.

After all, we tried to enjoy another part of hidden Bali, we rented a motorbike from Puri Agung for 6 days at 50K Rp/day and started our journey of almost 400km in Bali from there.

Day 2: On the way to Ubud, we happened to watch a funeral ceremony, the burning of corpses and coffins just at the road side!!

The fuel for motorbike we rented which traveled for almost 400km costed us Rp 69K, accomodation costed 820K Rp for 6 nights. (US100~896,500). Upon departure, we need to pay airport tax of 150K per pax.

Last, this is still a memorable honeymoon for us. Hope to travel to other place of Indonesia next trip.
